Presidential Tracking Poll

Tuesday, March 09, 2010 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. One year after reaching the lowest levels ever recorded by the Rasmussen Consumer Index, consumer confidence has bounced back and today is at the highest level recorded since September 2008. Nationally, 32% of adults say the U.S. economy is getting better but 42% say it's getting worse. A year ago, just 12% felt the economy was improving, and 72% thought the economy was getting worse.
