Thanks to Glenn Beck for great research and a job well done! In case you haven’t heard, we now have a self professed communist serving as “Czar” in the Obama administration. More importantly, a part of an organization called the Apollo Alliance, the same organization which wrote the unsuccessful Obama stimulus plan.

The Apollo Alliance describes itself as:

‘The Apollo Alliance is a coalition of labor, business, environmental and community leaders working to catalyze a clean energy revolution that will put millions of Americans to work in a new generation of high quality, green collar jobs. Inspired by the Apollo space program, we promote investments in energy efficiency, clean power, mass transit, next generation vehicles and emerging technology as well as in education and training. Working together, we will reduce carbon emissions and oil imports, spur domestic job growth and position America to thrive in the 21^st century economy.’

The real truth, these are true believers with an absolute belief that government is the answer to all economic and social issues. They believe and support alliance with labor unions, subsidy seeking companies (how unusual) and any and all global warming fans. This is an electoral  network heavily influenced by progressive plutocrats and secret donors working on anti corporate, anti military, welfare state and any and all progressive programs.  These people are the ones who helped incubate the Apollo Alliance, now a project of Tides Center……oops, a name that keeps cropping up remember those alliances to the infamous ACORN?

Apollo Alliance was co-founded by Campaign for America’s Future, the George Soros funded organization that supports an ever expanding welfare state. From what we can determine the connection begins in 1999 with a donation of $100,000 as start up funding for Institute for America’s future (IAF) which is connected with Campaign for America’s future. Then another $465,000 in 2005 from Soros’s Open Society Institute. The Tides Foundation gave IAF $100,000 in 2001, $225,000 in 2004, $218,791 in 2005 and $152,196 in 2007. Remember, Tides works as a donor in money laundering operation.

President Obama’s new green czar Van Jones, who admits to being a communist, has been on the Board of the Apollo Alliance group. This green gangster group (remember the thuggery in the White House we’ve been outlining) has ties to ACORN, SEIU and Center for American Progress.   Jones has gone on to say,” the group’s mission as sort of a grand unified field for progressive left causes.” Stands to reason, Wade Rathke, founder of ACORN has been a member of the Apollo Alliance’s board. What a cozy group. We might add, he was on the Board of the Tides Foundation and Tides Center, the parent organizations that hosts the Apollo Alliance.

Apollo Alliance’s vision is to endorse every major union in the AFL-CIO and many environmental groups . Their intent is to bring together the elements of organized labor with the community organizers with the green groups and access all of the big foundation money that’s been supportive of these causes.

Oh and another coincidence, in RBO’S March 7^th article, “Meet Arthur Z. Schwartz: ACORN’s new mouthpiece and another Obama radical supporter”, they went on in detail about ACORN affiliate, the Working Families Party, which is also affiliated with the George Soros funded, Drug Alliance and the New Party on whose ticket Obama first ran in 1995 for the Illinois Senate.
