Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize
October 9, 2009 By Save America
This is no joke. Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”, the Nobel Committee commented. Apparently, they were one of the few who appreciated his apology tour for The United States of America.
Obama says he’s humbled by this award……..ok, stop laughing.
Last year he was elected on his promise of extracting U.S. forces from Iraq while increasing focus on an eight year conflict in Afghanistan. When will this happen? All U.S. forces are scheduled to be withdrawn from Iraq by 2011. Time is running out.
Obama is the third President to be a recipient of this award, along with Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. President Carter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, after he left office. It kind of makes sense now, doesn’t it?
Can someone please tell me what Obama has done to even be considered for this award?
Don’t forget, this committee gave Yasser Arafat the Nobel also.
Some thoughts from the American Thinker………..

America, You’ve Been Punk’d
It’s okay to admit it: you thought you were voting for a more benevolent and wiser version of Tiger Woods when all you got was a smoother version of Chicago-style, brass knuckle politics. It isn’t so much that you voted for the wrong guy; you were lied to by the media.
But you should have known better. Chicago has a long and storied run of thoroughly corrupt political bosses giving envy to any third-world dictator. Barack Obama also ran around with loony-tune communists and wild-eyed radicals including his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, who makes the loosest of cannons seem laser-guided. Then he tells us absolutely nothing about himself other than what is in his — not one but two — autobiographies.
If you scratch below the surface — not too hard since there isn’t much there — you find a different human being, one entirely at variance with what you find in the media or his autobiographies. It is a man driven not to overcoming obstacles but stuck on them, still living in his past. The case of Barack Obama is one of a deep, deep inferiority complex from his childhood and he just seems unable to rise from it.
Looking at BHO from another angle shows the real man. He was conceived out of wedlock while his mother was in college. His childhood consisted of a father who abandoned him as an infant — unwanted — and he was raised by another man in another country through many of his formative childhood years. He didn’t look like his Indonesian adopted father or his white mother in an Asian culture. As he grows up, he is introduced to marijuana and cocaine. The people he hangs around with are avowed communists and radicals –strange, hateful people and the ideologues on whom Barack Obama cuts his philosophical teeth.
Just out of college, he writes his first autobiography that is filled with errors at best, lies at worst. He wants the world to see him differently than what he really is. There is no attachment in his life, and just like Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon before him, the crowd takes the place of a physically or emotionally absent father.
Obama is different, though. The hate is still brewing inside him. His only foundation consists of communists who turn his inferiority into narcissism, a common result of an inferiority complex. He wants to change America and reflect his image. Now, as president, he can do so with a stroke of the pen or the whim of his will. He can mete out his vision for America on an unsuspecting public.
Nobody thought in years past a man such as Barack Obama, almost completely inexperienced and un-vetted, would ever occupy the White House. Surely, the head of the Executive Branch would never abuse the office as he has. It is all about Barack Obama and his fellow-travelling media.
You were lied to and straight-faced from the beginning. He was supposed to be the One, but what you got was politics as usual, this time with no inhibitions toward power, a shrewd and crooked power grab. American wanted to believe in a dream of racial reconciliation, so they believed the media-generated images and blocked out warnings from conservatives about Obama’s troubling and troubled past.
No wonder BHO apologizes for America. He is out for revenge, thanks to an inculcation of other self-loathers that surrounded him since he was a boy. This is a deeply wounded man who will stop at nothing to seek vengeance on a way of life here in America.
It’s time to admit it: you were played for a fool. Surprise, surprise, America, you are waking up to find you’ve been punk’d

Yoram Ettinger says that according to Alfred Nobel’s will and in contrast with other Nobel Prize committees the members of the Nobel Prize for Peace committee are not experts, but politicians, members of the Norwegian Parliament.
The chairman of the committee, socialist Thorbjorn Jagland, former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Norway, is the Vice President and the Chairman of the Middle East Committee of the “Socialist International,” known for its opposition to US and Israeli policies. He is, also, the Chairman of the “Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights,” which advocates a Dovish-Leftist worldview, in cooperation with Jimmy Carter, who is close to Obama and considered a role-model for the new Nobel laureate.
Along with other members of the Committee, Jagland represents a Parliament that has called to recognize Hamas, to dialogue with Iran, to tolerate rogue regimes, to enhance ties with Muslim regimes, to condemn (what he terms) Islamophobia and to condemn systematically the policies of Washington (until Obama’s victory) and Jerusalem.
Awarding Obama the Nobel Peace Prize in spite of the fact that the deadline for nominations was February 1, 10 days into Obama’s Administration constitutes a transparent attempt by European politicians to bolster Obama’s determination in the global arena and improve his standing in the domestic arena. While Obama’s stock has risen internationally, it has deteriorated internally, in light of his lack of success in the areas of unemployment, taxes, budget deficit, health insurance reform, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Russia and al-Qaeda.
Jagland and his colleagues are determined to provide Obama with a tailwind. They consider him the most UN-driven American president since Woodrow Wilson, who established the League of Nations in 1920. They encourage him to sustain his efforts to endear the UN to the American people and legislators and to highlight the UN as the key formulator of international relations. They identify with and are eager to advance Obama’s worldview, as they assess it: that the superpower role of the US is over, that moral equivalence and not moral superiority dominates relations between the US and non-Western democracies, and that the West must reconcile itself to the rise of the Muslim World.
This perceived worldview also holds that the US must desist from unilateral political and military initiatives, that America should advance multilateral initiatives which reflect values and attitudes shared by the majority of the UN membership, that there is no military option against Iran, that the battle against Islamic terrorism must be conducted diplomatically, economically and legally and not militarily, that there should not be a surge in Afghanistan, that retreat from Iraq should be accelerated, that the Palestinian issue is the core cause of Middle East turbulence and anti-Western Islamic terrorism, etc.
Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama does not reflect respect by the Nobel Prize Committee toward the American presidency. It does not intend to express appreciation of the American legacy and American human and mega-billion monetary sacrifice, which spared Europe defeat during World War I and World War II, produced victory over Communism and minimized Islamic terrorism in Europe.
The Nobel Peace Prize Committee aimed to improve Obama’s image among Americans and leverage his presidency in order to Europeanize US policy, thus accomplishing the “wet dream” of US critics, rivals and enemies. Reservations expressed by most of the US public, legislators and media suggest that the Norwegian politicians may relive the Biblical episode of Balaam in reverse: They came to bless, but ended up cursing.
