Don’t be fooled by Obama’s Republicans
November 1, 2009 By Save America
It’s pretty interesting what’s happening in New York’s 23 District. An internecine battle is raging over how Republicans should react to Dede Scozzafava’s withdrawal and the momentum gaining for Doug Hoffman’s Conservative bid.
By unconditionally supporting the Republican machine candidate Ms. Scozzafava who was one of the MOST liberal candidates ever offered up by the Republican party in any race, Newt Gingrich possibly missed the call from the American people for the party to return to the fiscal and moral base they have strayed from.
Scozzafava supports the same extreme political positions, card-check, Obama stimulus as all of the other left wing politicians. She maintains deep support with the most radical and odious groups such as ACORN, Working Family Party associated with the other current Dems up on the hill. While Newt endorsed her, all while knowing her allegiances, he brought to question….just how committed is the GOP to listening and supporting the real desires of Americans?
Two weeks after Sara Palin resigned from public office, Newt Gingrich in an interview with POLITICO offered her some unsolicited advice. He was certain her reputation needed serious public revival and offered substantial details on the style of speeches that would be most appropriate for her to deliver to various audiences. Funny, given who he chose to support it would seem HIS reputation is now questionable and quite possibly he should be seeking political advice from Ms. Palin as to how he might regain stature amongst the conservative revolution of 2010.
Ms. Palin announced her support for Doug Hoffman on Face book, October 24th. When she chose to rally against the Republican machine in its support of Scozzafava she revealed her true philosophical commitments to conservative ideals. Her support and convictions are not products of polls, focus groups or leadings from the same old GOP, yet from the heart. She stood alone as a visionary which lead other prominent Republican leaders to step out from the status quo and take a fresh direction which will lead this nation back to clean, honest political persuasion…. for the people. Palin evoked Ronald Reagan and stressed the importance of principle over party. She has the unique ability to convey the highest sense of personal honor and commitment to serving the people of this nation.
It’s because of these values the political junkies from the left have taken unlimited swipes at her authenticity. And yet she continues to speak out for the truth and what is right since removing the confining yoke of her prior political office. And, she’s proven to be influential not only in rallying support for a true conservative but continuing to stand by her ideals on healthcare, energy or any of the numerous issues this administration throws at us on a daily basis.
Sara Palin has brought a defined focus that we can only hope other politicians (regardless of party) will begin to emulate. This nation demands our politicians start to trend back to free markets, small government, lower taxes, strong national defense and individual liberty. All values which she communicates tirelessly and champions to bring this nation back to the principled universal roots shared with our Founding Fathers.
The people of this nation need to make sure we don’t blur the lines with immoderate candidates if we have any hope in reengaging the great principles that have made The United States the leader of the free world. Conservatives outnumber liberals two to one. History has shown us conservatives can win elections, but we need to regain our founding convictions to be resurgent.
Possibly the conservatism Doug Hoffman has stirred whether he wins or loses, will lead the GOP to take notice. America will no longer just accept the (R) after the name. Do the Republicans not have any options anymore? We don’t want any more Obama-like candidates! You vote for the candidate you belief in most and it doesn’t matter what party they are in……
While Newt backtracks, let’s hope the GOP realizes they’ve now been put on notice by “We the People”.

Dede was at 20 percent in the latest poll and decided to drop out and support the Dem candidate. The fact that her husband is a union boss probably had nothing to do with her seeking bipartisan solutions…
At least Dede Scozzafava took the mask off and revealed her true colors…….like you said, an Obama Republican…pathetic. The GOP better get their act together supporting a candidate with her lack of moral base…read on:
State Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava (R), who dropped from the special election in Upstate New York yesterday, has now thrown her support to Democrat Bill Owens.
“It’s not in the cards for me to be your representative, but I strongly believe Bill is the only candidate who can build upon John McHugh’s lasting legacy in the U.S. Congress,” said Scozzafava in a statement released moments ago.
Owens said he was “honored” to have won Scozzafava’s endorsement, noting: “Now more than ever we need bipartisan solutions to help bring jobs to Upstate New York to get our economy back on track and move our country forward.”
It’s not clear how much Scozzafava’s backing of Owens will change the race. Democratic strategists, who just 48 hours ago saw the race moving back in their direction, have grown pessimistic about their chances in the aftermath of the Scozzafava decision.
