Tea Party Leaders Fight Back

January 23, 2010 By Save America

As predicted Fred O’Neil and Doug Guetzole have stepped upon too many patriotic toes in Florida who have now filed a federal lawsuit against them. The plaintiffs have suggested to O’Neil to back off with the threats of exclusive and intellectual property rights to the Tea Party name.

This is going to get very messy, grass root groups throughout the state use “Tea Party” somewhere in their name. This lawsuit is asking the court to compel O’Neil to change his third political party’s name to avoid confusion with the other state Tea Party groups who are not affiliated or endorse/ approve of his name filing.

O’Neil responded last Tuesday stating he won’t change the name without a court order. He said, “if the plaintiffs wanted exclusive rights to it, they should have beaten him to the punch. They didn’t register it, I did”.

O’Neil is fooling no one, he has had no affiliations to any prior Tea Party group and as we stated earlier, he was a registered democrat UNTIL he filed the name with the Florida Division of Elections. He is the more ‘credible’ front man for Orlando profiteer, Doug Guetzloe.  Guetzloe hosts a conservative radio show and has been accused in the past of a string of political dirty tricks. Some of which have alleged involvement with O’Neil.

After we broke the story of the threatening letters,  Everett Wilkinson of the South Florida Tea Party coordinated the efforts in filing this federal lawsuit against these political insiders. This is nothing more than the creation of a  new political entity  taking advantage of the increasing popularity of this grassroots movement.

Barry Willoughby has included his name as a plaintiff to this filing representing the Naples Tea Party.  While Guetzloe has responded to this filing accusing the plaintiff’s of being supported by well-funded GOP operatives and ‘others’ ramping up to destroy the tea party movement, be assured the Naples Tea Party is truly grass root with no ‘well funded’ operatives behind the movement. To assert this charge is the lowest form of political divisionism and speaks to the possible intentions behind the third political party filing.

With the early launch of the Florida Political Tea Party, how better to divide and conquer in 2010?

Presidential Tracking Poll

Thursday, July 29, 2010 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16. Twenty-eight percent (28%) believe the U.S. is generally heading in the right direction. A federal judge ruled yesterday to block implementation of the Arizona immigration law. Rasmussen Reports began polling last night to measure reaction and Platinum Members can get a heads up on the preliminary results. Most voters were opposed to the Justice Department’s legal action against Arizona. It is likely that the judge’s ruling will keep the issue alive, adding to an already difficult political environment for the Democrats.
