The November 2010 elections are just around the corner and we could be headed for another “selection” in which 85% of all votes will be cast  and counted on fraudulent voting machines. We have absolutely no reason to have confidence the actual “winner” of the elections will be the true choice of  ‘We the People’, just as we have no reason to believe the candidates we’ll be choosing from are our true selections.

Mighty frustrating…right?

There is such a mountain of evidence condemning the voting machines and the lack of security surrounding them.  By this November everyone should be insisting we demand that our cities, counties and states go back to the hand-counted paper ballot elections with enhanced security procedures.

The CIA have been monitoring the use of electronic voting systems worldwide and have reported apparent vote-rigging schemes and a raft of concerns about the machines vulnerability to tampering.  Appearing before a U.S. Elections Assistance Commission field hearing in Orlando, Fl., CIA cyber security expert Steve Stigall suggested Hugo Chavez and his allies fixed a 2004 election recount. In a presentation that could provide disturbing lessons for the U.S., where electronic voting is becoming universal, he summarized what he describes as attempts to use computers to undermine democratic elections.  Stigall reported to the Elections Assistance Commission , an agency Congress created in 2002 to modernize the U.S. voting, computerized electoral systems can be manipulated at five stages; from altering voter registration lists to posting the results. Stigall also commented that the voting equipment connected to the internet could be hijacked and machines that were not connected could be compromised wirelessly. While eleven U.S. states have banned or limited the wireless capability in voting equipment, election officials don’t always know it when wireless cards are embedded in their machines.

There is an ongoing heavy effort to promote and influence the development the usage of electronic elections by three NGO international organizations:

-       The International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES). IFES was founded in 1987 though the organization’s efforts since the 1980s have expanded beyond just ballots. IFES, which receives approximately 80 percent of its funding from USAID and the State Department, is also financed by the United Nations, other bilateral and multilateral organizations, and private donors. IFES focuses on providing technical assistance in four main areas: elections; rule of law, often working with a country’s judiciary; civil society; and governance at the parliamentary—and more recently—local levels.

-       The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA). The Swedish-based IDEA, created in 1995, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), is an inter-governmental organization with member states from all continents….. IDEA is financed through contributions from Member States and through complementary funds obtained from a variety of other private sources.

-       The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) is part of the United Nations and is responsible for the follow-up to the major United Nations Summits and Conferences, as well as services to the Economic and Social Council and the second and third committees of the United Nations General Assembly. UNDESA is headquartered in New York, but has an important secondary office in Rome, Italy.  This department is headed by Sha Zukang since July 1, 2007.

Democracy promotion has long been an aspect of the U.S. foreign policy, but it became a central component after September 11^TH. The U.S. Government has several channels for promoting democracy and the majority receive funding from our government. Justin Logan, a foreign policy analysts at the Cato Institute thinks we should be skeptical of this role of subscribing to democracy-promotion as a foreign policy goal arguing it is essentially regime change. If we start to dig into and reveal the connections of the board members of these international organizations, the interconnections and relationships to one another lead us to  question if it really isn’t all about regime change as Mr. Logan suggests.  Private institutes like George Soros’ Open Society Institute may be able to make further progress. While the U.S. supports these NGO’s (non-government organizations) some argue, the NGOs can hinder and even work against the U.S. interests. Personally, I think the U.S. elections should remain a strict U.S. ONLY concern…..with U.S. only involvement. We have enough problems within.

As Soros is gearing up to steal the 2010/2012 elections by installing left-wing Democrats as Secretaries of State (SOS Project) across nation, we can’t afford to have our votes tampered with electronically. Secretaries of State can help tilt the electoral playing field. It was revealed during a panel discussion at the Democratic Party’s convention that the Democracy Alliance, a financial clearinghouse created by Soros and Progressive Peter B. Lewis, approved the Secretary of State Project as a grantee. The Democracy Alliance aspires to create a permanent political infrastructure on nonprofits, think tanks, media outlets, leadership schools and activist groups. This is a vast left-wing drive to compete with the conservative movement. It has brokered more than $100 million in grants to all liberal non-profits which include ACORN.

The lesson has not been lost on George Soros. We need to fight and bring back the hand-counted paper ballot elections if we have any hope of having a true Republic again.

Freedom is a human right. In order to have this freedom, we must be able to choose our governance through honest public elections. If votes are counted by concealed electronic processes and controlled by insiders, these are not public elections. This process violates our human rights, not just civil and voting rights. Our right to freedom is our highest right. As our Declaration of Independence states, “an inalienable right, endowed by our creator.”

Bev Harris, a 52 year old grandmother wrote a book , “Black Box Voting” as a result of her investigations into the voting industry. What she learned was the voting systems are run by private for-profit corporations. A system so flawed that it allows machines to miscount and lose votes  which enables ways to circumvent the voting system.

So you see, “The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything”.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the Sunshine State shows Crist leading former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio by 22 points among likely Republican Primary voters – 53% to 31%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and 11% are undecided.

Still, the fact that Crist is barely above 50% in a primary against a much lesser known opponent suggests at least a potential vulnerability.

This is the first Rasmussen Reports poll of the Republican Primary campaign in Florida.

In late June, Crist held solid leads over the two most prominent Democrats who have announced for the seat now held by retiring Republican Senator Mel Martinez.

Since then, however, Martinez has announced that he will be leaving the Senate this year as soon as Crist names a replacement to succeed him. This puts the governor in the position of raising up a potential rival with a year of Senate experience.

Rasmussen Reports will release new numbers on some of the known potential match-ups in the 2010 Senate race in Florida at 5 pm EDT today.

In the primary contest, married voters give Crist a 16-point edge over Rubio, while unmarrieds prefer the governor by a three-to-one margin.

Thirty-one percent (31%) of likely GOP Primary voters have a very favorable opinion of Crist while six percent (6%) have a very unfavorable view.

The comparable numbers for Rubio are 18% very favorable and five percent (5%) very unfavorable.

At this very early stage of the campaign, Rasmussen Reports considers the very favorable and very unfavorable figures more significant than the overall favorability totals.

Crist raised $4.3 million in the second quarter, more than 10 times as much as Rubio.
