Call For Action
November 6, 2010 by Naples Tea Party
Here is an opportunity to fire the first shot to return us to the Constitutional Government the forefathers gave us.
A Republican Liberal/Progressive Fred Upton, is being considered for a Committee Chairmanship. Check the blog Red State for more information on this issue.
Congressman John Boehner, the new majority leader must be contacted by you and told that you will not be happy with any chairmanship given to this man.
You should also contact Connie Mack with he same message. Mack, I understand wants to run against Senator Bill Nelson in 2012.
Be sure to identify both of them that you belong to the Naples Tea Party.
Be sure to tell Mack you are in his district. Pass this on to “everyone” on your list. Even out of towners can contact Boehner.
Call every office – e-mail -Fax - write. Here is when writing will not be wasted.
Ok fellow Party members, lets fire our first volley. We are not going to fade away, are we?

ONE PERCENT SOLUTION
The one percent solution will be know as the greatest tax idea of all time.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, CORPORATE, AND OTHER TAXES WOULD BE ELIMINATED.
Tax one percent of all financial transactions which includes all wire transfers, checks and cash.
The revenue generated would balance the combined $ 6.4 trillion federal , state and local budgets.
The tax would be collected through the federal reserve clearing house and one percent transferred to the treasury. ATM cash withdrawals would have the same tax collected at the bank and transferred to the treasury.
All legal and illegal underground economy transactions would be taxed since all financial transactions would go through the federal reserve clearing house. The law would be changed to require
all domestic and international financial transactions to go through the fed clearing house . An insignificant number of people would risk going to prison for tax evasion to avoid a one percent tax.
The IRS and all other collection agencies would be eliminated which would save billions in collection costs an uncountable hours in tax preparation time.
Thanks, Stan Sanders
“Even by an incomplete accounting (including both “criminal” and “corrupt” funds, but not other illicit capital transfers, such as illegal shifts of real estate or securities titles, wire fraud, etc.), the dirty money coming from abroad into U.S. banks amounted to $3.5 to $6.0 trillion during the 1990s. While this is not the whole picture, it gives us a basis for estimating the significance of the “dirty money factor” in the U.S. economy. The United States currently runs an annual trade deficit of over $400 billion. The gap has to be financed with inflows of funds from abroad – at least a third of which is “dirty money.” Without the dirty money the U.S. economy’s external accounts would be unsustainable. No wonder the biggest banks in the United States and Europe are actively involved, and the governments of these countries turn a blind eye. That is today’s capitalism – built around pillage, criminality, corruption, and complicity.” U.S. Banks and the Dirty Money Empire

Naughty or Nice?
AFA’s 2009 listing of top retailers and how they recognize Christmas
Based on current advertising, below is a list of companies that avoid, ban, or use the term “Christmas” in their advertising. We will continually update the list, so check back often.
Criteria – AFA reviewed up to four areas to determine if a company was “Christmas-friendly” in their advertising: print media (newspaper inserts), broadcast media (radio/television), website and/or personal visits to the store. If a company’s ad has references to items associated with Christmas (trees, wreaths, lights, etc.), it was considered as an attempt to reach “Christmas” shoppers.
If a company has items associated with Christmas, but did not use the word “Christmas,” then the company is considered as censoring “Christmas.”
Color Code:
Company uses the term “Christmas” on a regular basis, we consider that company Christmas-friendly.
Company refers to Christmas infrequently, or in a single advertising medium, but not in others.
Company may use “Christmas” sparingly in a single or unique product description, but as a company, does not recognize it.
A company may be removed from the “bad” list by providing documentation to AFA.
SPECIAL ALERT! AFA is calling for a “Christmas” boycott of Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic stores.
